Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
The rising star has impressive social media audience
The young golfer will have numerous well-known supporters as she starts her LPGA debut later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically told me to play and relax," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments recently and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Yet she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He told me to go out there, have fun, adapting to the flow."
Kai will face multiple top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to wider groups, especially among the next generation.
The social media influencer boasts substantial online presence and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living label.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
